Short, Short, Long

This drill will be conducted with at least 3 players.  In two lines at a decent appropriate with age, the first ball is played long to the other side with the player following its pass.  The player receives the long pass and will settle and play a pass to the player who played the long ball.  That player will play a one touch back and a long ball will then be played.  Rotate the drill for both feet.
