Tag Up Drill

With runners at the bases, thecoach hits fly balls to the outfielders. Runners should immediately return to their basees when the ball is in the air and tag up. They should attempt to time the catch to their take-off in order to get a good jump. Always force the outfielder to make a throw as you may be able to advance on a bad throw.
